Hoping this will start me down a path set to finally incorporate my physical drawings into a conceptual field. Gonna be sketch compiling every couple of days for the this month. Hopefully push this style more into the fore-front of my skill set across the boards.

BAM!

Got a minor painting in mind as well. All class projects. But then I need to take off the kid gloves. I need to go back to what was right. Penciling. Inking. Figure out where that all fits in. I’ve been rethinking how it all works thanks to some great new and established artists I’ve been discovering/rediscovering. I can’t let this die out.

Just a heads up. I’ve been doing a lot of work and test concepts and quick sketches and one offs for a while. The galleries are up, currently linked at the top right of this site layout. Still unhappy with my current level of skill and concept but being the massive introvert that I am that should improve as life treks on.

Working towards getting the site together all the while pushing my artistic “vocabulary”. Hopefully by week’s end the site will have some general sense of direction. As well I do plan on putting up some process work, so this should be pretty fun.

I’m re-envisioning the possibilities of my art career. Compartmentalizing everything I can shoot for as a goal. I need this more than ever and I’m hoping this is the first step towards something great enough that I can be proud of what I’ve done. Against all odds I will keep moving forward. Going back is not an option anymore.
